"Uriah was an amazing host and really personalized the experience to our interests (specifically mycology for us). The hike we went on was gorgeous and we saw many edible plants along the way which Uriah was able to discuss and talk about in detail. Although he warned us that the mushroom season was ending, we were still able to find a couple edible mushrooms on our way down from the canyon and he showed us how to identify them. At the end, he even gave us some dehydrated mushrooms from his previous forays. It was such a great time mostly due to how easy it was to talk to him and his large knowledge of plants and fungi. I highly recommend for beginners to foraging, we were all impressed by his knowledge of Latin names!"
